Worthy Marketing Group (WMG) is a boutique marketing agency specializing in helping authors, online experts, and small businesses build their brands, expand their platforms, and launch their books and online programs.
The Marketing Coordinator is a key member of our team that will work remotely on a contract basis (up to 40 hours per week) conducting tasks alongside our team to execute a variety of marketing functions in support of our clients’ campaigns.
the role
• Generate content (blog posts, social posts, collateral pieces) according to our clients’ specific audience and voice to share across their social media platforms, and/or on their websites. This includes pulling relevant articles to share, composing status updates, creating quote images, etc.
• Work to grow clients’ social media following and engagement and track growth metrics
• Research blogs, podcasts, professional programs, book awards, speaking bureaus, etc. to pull together lists for outreach based on client fit, and coordinate outreach to these audiences
• Assist with webinars setup (both live and automated) and act as support staff during webinars to field questions and tackle tech issues as needed
• Follow and maintain a weekly editorial calendar for our clients’ social and blog postings
• Repurpose clients’ blog content for cross-posting/guest posting across platforms
• Update clients’ WordPress and Squarespace websites with copy, links and/or video embedding as needed.
• Publish blog posts for clients (including sourcing stock photography for posts) as needed
• Serve emails to clients’ mailing lists via MailChimp, Active Campaign, Infusionsoft, Hubspot, etc. as needed

- A degree in marketing or communications (we also like psychology, sociology, or anthropology)
- Experience with online CMS and email systems like Infusionsoft, Active Campaign, Hubspot, Convert Kit, MailChimp, etc.
- Experience with webinar platforms like GoToWebinar, EasyWebinar, WebinarJam, etc.
- Experience with Asana for project management
- Experience with Slack for team communication
- A love and ability for writing (blog posts, site copy)
- An artsy, creative side that enjoys graphic design
- Experience with graphic design software – Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
